Fruit of the ‘synodal’ work of the international team preparing the celebrations of the 75th anniversary of the Pilgrim Mother Apostolate, the symbol of this great celebration has two main graphical elements:

• John Pozzobon with the Pilgrim Mother, and the Schoenstatt international symbol.
• The expression “Missionaries of Hope ” (that can be written in any language) completes the symbol, which turns into the graphical expression of the jubilee motto: “With the Pilgrim Mother, missionaries of hope!”.

The image of the “ missionary ” in the center of the symbol is immediately recognizable as the initiator of the Pilgrim Mother Campaign, God’ s servant, John Pozzobon. He is on the road with the Pilgrim Mother and carries a rosary in his hand, its inseparable travel partner. He was and still is a model and inspiration for every person dedicating apostolically to the Pilgrim Mother Apostolate.

The circle behind the Pilgrim Mother means the world and every country that has received and will receive the Pilgrim Mother.

• At the same time, the image represents every missionary following John Pozzobon ‘ s steps in the last 75 years, and that is committed to taking the Pilgrim Mother towards the future, ‘faithful to its origin ’ .

The Schoenstatt symbol ‘hugs ’ the missionary, meaning the Pilgrim Mother Apostolate belongs to Schoenstatt. Not only was it born from Schoenstatt as a ‘ gift from the Holy Spirit to bring the graces of the Shrine to everyone ’ , but its members also belong to the Schoenstatt Movement according to their calling. Its organization finds its place in the apostolic dynamism of the Popular and Pilgrims Movement and the circle of collaborators of the Apostolic League.

The ‘ open ‘ symbol means the missionary ‘DNA’ of the Apostolate, which helps Schoenstatt to always be and remain ‘in motion ‘ .

• It also reminds us that the celebrations of this 75th anniversary of this great apostolate go beyond just a gathering, but rather are a new sending forth, in which missionaries see a renewed confidence, their sense of mission, and the vitality of their apostolate.

Dear Mother Thrice Admirable, Queen, and Victress of Schoenstatt With deep gratitude, we remember your servant, John Louis Pozzobon, who with ardent devotion began the Pilgrim Mother campaign, bringing your light and hope to thousands of people and homes, with your image and the prayer of the Rosary.

We thank you for all those who, during these 75 years, “faithful to the origin ” , have followed in his footsteps, enkindling the fire of the love of your son, Jesus Christ.

Heavenly Mother, we celebrate this apostolate, gift of the Holy Spirit, and irruption of graces, with which you wanted to offer the Shrine to all your children, making it fruitful for the service of the Church.

In this Jubilee Year, fill our hearts with the same heroism, loyalty to the Covenant, and missionary zeal that you gave to John Pozzobon; may this Jubilee bear abundant fruit, renewing this Apostolate in joy, commitment, youthfulness, and in the “hope that does not disappoint. ”

Mother, here we are, with our hearts open! grant us the grace to always give “ a little more ” in order to proclaim and build hope. In the strength of the Covenant of Love, we go with you.
