In Response to the Recent Press Release
In response to an article published in “Die Tagespost”, a Catholic journal from Germany, by Alexandra Von Teuffenbach, where old accusations about Father Joseph Kentenich (1885-1968), founder of Schoenstatt, are brought to light in a worldwide press release, the General Presidium of the International Schoenstatt, as well as the Schoenstatt Sisters and Schoenstatt Fathers have issued their statements.
In the interest to help you have access to the statements mentioned and remain informed, find the links here. Following the indications of Father Juan Pablo Cattoggio, President of the General Presidium, you are able to find on this page the link to www.schoenstatt.com, the official international page of the Schoenstatt Movement.
…in the near future, coordinated by a small team, information and documentation material in various languages on the historical events will be continuously made available to you. This will be done through our official website www.schoenstatt.com. We will also take the necessary steps from our side to examine the material of the archives that are now accessible.
If you have any questions or suggestions, you are welcome to contact our International Coordination Office in Schoenstatt at communication@schoenstatt.com. As far as possible, we will be at your disposal (Juan Pablo Cattoggio, Letter from the General Presidium of the Schoenstatt Work, Schoenstatt, July 8, 2020).
