Grateful for New Missionaries

In Tacoma, Washington State, new missionaries were sent out on November 19, 2020, the feast of Our Lady of Divine Providence. This was the third commissioning at St Andrews Parish. They chose this day in order to commemorate Father Kentenich’s Baptism. Father Clement Piluwa led the ceremony blessing two pilgrim shrines and sending out a new missionary: Marcela Johns, with a Pilgrim Mother for English and for Spanish. Catherine Tangen, Pastoral Assistant for Youth and Young Adults, was also commissioned with her second Pilgrim Mother Shrine for the Middle School and High School families. Clearly, the Schoenstatt Pilgrim Mother wants to continue her mission and bless more and more families with her little shrine of grace.  Patricia Bowlin, the main coordinator in the Diocese of Seattle, comments: “We are so grateful for the faithfulness and love of the MTA!”
