Commissioning of New Missionaries on Feast of the Holy Archangels!

Our Lady’s vineyard is growing in Pierce County, Washington!  On the feast day of the Holy Archangels, September 29th,
we had the great blessing of commissioning 4 new Missionaries for the Pilgrim Mother.

We began by attending Holy Mass celebrated by Fr. Clement Piruwa, Parochial Vicar of St. Andrews Parish in Sumner, Washington.  During the homily, Father introduced Our Lady of Schoenstatt and spoke about her mission to visit families, going from home to home, bringing them together to pray the Rosary. He then announced that a group of new Missionaries would be commissioned and sent out today.

After Mass, we set up a large MTA Shrine with yellow roses. The roses gave a sense of the love and joy the Blessed Mother must have felt looking upon the new missionaries who selflessly offered their service to her. She was clearly welcoming her new missionaries from the Shrine. They included 2 sacramental couples and a Mother and Daughter:

Mr and Mrs. Jonoah and Adele Lentz
Mr. and Mrs. Christopher and Joyce Lentz
Irene Tangen
Catherine Tangen

We gathered in front of  her Image and Father Clement led the commissioning,  blessing each Pilgrim Shrine with holy water. We ended with the singing of our Consecration Song, “My Queen, My Mother”.  Father sent the missionaries out with a beautiful blessing.
What an amazing gift to welcome these new missionaries on the Feast of the Holy Archangels. These new apostles will help Mary touch many more hearts in the Parish. We are so grateful for their service to this blessed Apostolate.  May Our Lady bless them richly on their mission.
